 Definitions:

Nema 1: Enclosure is intended for indoor use primarily to provide a degree of protection against contact with the enclosed equipment or locations where unusual service conditions do not exist.

Nema 3R: Enclosures are intended for outdoor use primarily to provide a degree of protection against falling rain and sleet; undamaged by the formation of ice on the enclosure.

Nema 4: Enclosures are intended for indoor or outdoor use primarily to provide a degree of protection against windblown dust and rain, splashing water, and hose directed water; undamaged by the formation of ice on the enclosure.

Nema 4X: Enclosures are intended for indoor or outdoor use primarily to provide a degree of protection against corrosion, windblown dust and rain, splashing water, and hose directed water; undamaged by the formation of ice on the enclosure.

Nema 12: Enclosures are intended for indoor use primarily to provide a degree of protection against dust, falling dirt, and dripping non-corrosive liquids.

Irrigation Enclosures:    

This enclosure is used to cover irrigation controls .  The enclosure is designed to be sturdy while still being easy to handle during installation.  The lid is held open with gas shocks for safety when you need to service the controls inside. Every job is different so we manufacture these enclosures to your size and color spec.
